Alvin T. Jones, 69, of Coatesville, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2015, at the Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia.

He was son of the late Romulus C. Jones, Sr. and Louise Bradley Jones.

A US Army veteran, Al served during the Vietnam conflict until he was honorably discharged.

He worked 30 years at Lukens Steel Company and enjoyed fishing, photography and videography.

He is survived by son, Romont Jones of Lancaster; daughters, Marvina (Jonnie) Brown and Selena Jones both of New Jersey, Erica Hardy of New York; sisters, Gloria Hicklen of Pocopson, Carolyn (Emory) Smith of North Carolina, Cynthia Johnson of Georgia; brother, Romulus C. Jones, Jr. of Parkesburg; special friend, Hodan Farah of Lancaster; 3 grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Services will be held 10 am Saturday, May 16, 2015, Gateway Church, 160 Cowan Rd, Parkesburg.  Viewing will be from 8 am - 9:45 am. Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, West Chester.
