Alsenia D. "Senie" Tucker Williams, 77, of Coatesville, passed away Thursday, October 24, 2013 at the Neighborhood Hospice Center in West Chester.

Born in Coatesville, she was the daughter of the late John and Elnora Macon Tucker.  She was the wife of David J. Williams of whom she shared 53 years of marriage.

Senie was a 1954 graduate of S. Horace Scott High School. She was employed at the Coatesville VA Medical Center for 38 years until she retired.

She had been a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Coatesville for 66 years. She was also a member of the Household of Ruth Grand United Order of Odd Fellows.

Senie was an avid sports fan of baseball and football. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband David J. Williams; son, David J C Williams of Cleveland OH; daughter Davida Washington of Coatesville; one sister, Bernice Surrett of Coatesville; two brothers, George (Anna) Tucker, Alfred (Reatha) Tucker both of Coatesville; sister-in-law Jacqueline Tucker of Coatesville; 4 grandchildren; 1 great grandson and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services will be held 11am, Friday, November 1, 2013 at the Tabernacle Baptist Church, 819 Coates St, Coatesville, with a viewing beginning at 9:00 am
