Alan Richard Jones, "Rebar", 67, of Kennett Square, PA., passed away, with his family at his side, Tuesday, June 30, 2015, at the Coatesville V.A. Hospice Care Unit in Coatesville.

Alan was a 1966 graduate of the Milton Hershey High School of Hershey, PA.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict and was honorably discharged in 1969.

Alan was an avid Philadelphia Eagles, Phillies, and Flyers sports fan.  He also enjoyed fishing.  He also found pleasure in reading, especially, Mark Twain and National Geographic.

He is survived by his friend, Helen Jones; son Casey Jones and his wife Samantha, all of Kennett Square.

Burial with military honors, will be in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.
