Obituary

Adrienne Nicole Figenbaum, aged 45, of Coatesville, PA, passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the cherished daughter of Raymond Preston Brown and the late Patricia Ann Conway.

Adrienne was a devoted wife to Brian Keith Figenbaum, with whom she shared a deep and loving bond. She had a fulfilling career as a Control Accountant at BNY Mellon Investment Bank, dedicating 15 years to the banking industry. Her professional accomplishments were a testament to her intelligence and dedication.

Outside of work, Adrienne found joy in creative pursuits. She enjoyed singing and had a talent for writing short stories, where her imagination could soar. She had a love for movies, food, and dining out. She loved cheesesteaks and particularly cherished her outings to Maggiano's. Among her many interests, she held a special place in her heart for the "Distant Worlds" concerts, which brought to life the mesmerizing music of the "Final Fantasy" series. The music compositions spoke to her soul, inspiring her writing and filling her home with melodies that echoed her own dreams.

In her spare time, Adrienne could often be found immersed in the worlds of "Distant Worlds 1 and 2," where her love for storytelling and music intertwined seamlessly. Her enthusiasm for these virtual realms was contagious, and she shared this passion with her husband, Brian, and their circle of friends.

Adrienne's home was brightened by the presence of her two beloved cats, Garnett and Sid, who were her constant companions.

She is survived by her husband, Brian Figenbaum; father, Raymond Brown; brothers, Daniel and Kwanda Brown of New Jersey and Kevin Brown of Philadelphia; stepmother, Evangeline Brown; step-sisters: Sharonda Young, De'Andra Briggs and Sabrina Johnson; aunts, Barbara Williams and Delores Conway; in-laws, Karl and Debra Figenbaum of Exton; sister-in-law's, Kelly and Stacy; and best friends, Amanda and Kat, and many cousins, nieces and nephews, all of whom were dear to her heart.
