William Brian Rivers

William Brian Rivers, 52, of Coatesville, PA passed away Sunday, August 4, 2019 at Reading Hospital.

Brian was born in Coatesville, PA. He was the son of Willie Rivers and the late Evelyn Grant Rivers.

Brian received his early education from the Coatesville Area School District and was a 1984 graduate of CASH.

He worked as a custodian for the Downingtown Area School District for several years. He also worked in Honeybrook as a welder and at Lukens Steel as a custodian for a few years.

Brian was known to be quiet and gentle. He enjoyed solitude and kept to himself.

In addition to his father Willie Rivers, Brian is survived by one brother, Fredrick C. Rivers of Coatesville, PA; nieces, Diane Rivers Mason; nephew, Charles Rivers; aunts: Anne Grant of Coatesville, Marian Stubbs of Philadelphia, Diane Martin of Delaware; and an uncle, Deacon Leroy A. Rivers (Pattie) of Coatesville; cousins: Clarence Williams (Teresa), Sheila Smith (Benito) and Sharon Rivers and other relatives and friends.

A Life Celebration Service will be held 11 AM Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at Second Baptist Worship Center, 857 Lumber Street, Coatesville, PA. A viewing will be held from 10 AM until the time of the service.

Interment will be held at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery, Lancaster, PA.
