Sheila Rochnowski Obituary

Sheila R. Rochnowski, 70, of Honey Brook, PA, formerly of Cleveland, OH, passed away on Thursday, April 11th from COPD, Heart Failure and Kidney disease. 

Born in Welch, W.V., she was predeceased by her parents, Don E. Roberts and Ruby A. Roberts of Ohio and her first husband, Martin J. Mercurio, the father of her two children, of Toms River, NJ.

She is survived by her daughters, Dana R. Gabel of Morgantown, PA and Rachel A. Willard of Honey Brook, PA; two grandchildren, Megan R. Reiff and Jared D. Reiff; her second husband, Don Rochnowski, and a sister, Charlene Brandt of Chicago, IL.

Sheila grew up in Cleveland, OH, were she attended Garfield Heights High School, Class of 1967, and later attended Humbolt Institute in Minneapolis, MN.  She was a hair stylist for the last 30 plus years! 

She enjoyed the outdoors and gardening, and was a great athlete, as well as a fabulous dancer and certified scuba diver.  She played golf, tennis, and softball.  She was a beautiful, classy woman, a great listener, a great cook, always attentive, generous and very smart!  Hardworking, caring, strong and independent.  Instantly liked by anybody to make her acquaintance.

"One day Mom, I will cry a little less, smile a lot more and laugh a little harder".

A cremation service was held privately.
