Ryan L. Jones

Ryan Jones, 37, of Coatesville PA, passed away Monday, April 30, at the Brandywine Hospital.  Born in Washington D.C., he was the son of Carol D. (Pittman) Jones and the Late William Leon Jones.

Ryan graduated from C.A.S.H. in 1998, and followed that by receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Lincoln University in 2003.

He was an outgoing, loving person who enjoyed life by helping others and making new friendships. He was an avid reader, but his real passion was computers. He enjoyed working on them, doing research, creating and playing games until the wee hours of the night. He was a foodie, who took pride in nutrition and fitness. He took pleasure in traveling and enjoyed watching football games with his mother.

Ryan is survived by his mother Carol D. Jones; one brother, Brandon Jones of Coatesville PA; maternal grandmother, Ann Carolyn Pittman of Coatesville; maternal great-grandmother, Martha Smutherman of Dillon, S.C. and special friends, Angie and Alex Bolig. He also leaves aunts: Joyce Jones, Beverly (Grant) Middleton, Cherry Pittman, Faye (John) Green; uncles JT Jones, Clifford Pittman, Jr.; nieces, Ava Jones, Lacey Rose Jones and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services will be held 10 AM on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at New Hope Glad Tidings Church, 80 Foundry Street in Coatesville, PA with a viewing at 9 AM.

Interment will be in New Evergreen Cemetery in Coatesville, PA.

Flowers can be sent to the church on the day of the service.
