Obituary
Pedro Juan Medina, 53, of Coatesville, PA, passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2018.Born in Adjuntas, Puerto Rico, on April 5, 1965, he was the son of the late Pedro and Evangelista Medina. He is survived by four children: Peter J. Medina, Abby V. Nova, Christian J. Medina, Andrea L. Carranza;1 brother; 9 sisters and 6 grandchildren. He was greatly proud of his four children who were always there with him through thick and thin through good and bad who never left his side.

He loved to play the guitar even though he didn't know how to play it. Loved to sing gospel music and meditate on the Lords scriptures. His dream was to become a police officer, but because of circumstances in life he couldn't achieve that goal.  However, little did he know that sometime in the near future he was going to witness his dream come true through his son Christian who is now an academy police graduate and currently a deputy Sheriff.

He was a proud grandfather who had unconditional love and cared for his grandchildren. He had a unique personality and sense of humor who always made you laugh. We will always remember him for being the greatest father and grandfather the Lord allowed us to have and enjoy. This is not a goodbye but until we reunite again in the Presence of The Lord.

Services will be held 12 noon Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Iglesia Puerta Estrecha, 75 W. 5th Ave., Coatesville with a viewing at 9 AM.  In addition, a viewing will be held at Wright Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., 725 Merchant Street, Coatesville, PA on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 from 6 PM – 9 PM.

He will be laid to rest at Mellinger's Mennonite Cemetery in Lancaster, PA

The family request donations be made to the funeral home to help with the funeral costs.

Pedro Juan Medina nacido en Adjuntas, Puerto Rico el 5 de Abril del 1965 es sobrevivido por sus 4 hijos  Peter J. Medina , Abby V. Medina, Christian J. Medina, y Andrea L. Carranza y sus 6 nietos. Estaba sumamente orgulloso de sus cuatro hijos los cuales siempre estaban a su lado en las buenas y en las malas en las altas y en las bajas nuncan se fueron de su lado.

Amaba tocar la guitarra aunque no sabia tocarla. Le encantaba entonar y cantar canciones cristianas y meditar en la Palabra de Dios. Su sueño era ser un Policia, pero por circumstancias de la vida no pudo obtener esa meta. Pero el nunca espero que en el futuro iba a ver su sueño hecho realidad atraves de su hijo Christian el cual es un graduante de la Academia de Policia y actualmente es un Sheriff. 

Era un abuelo orgulloso el cual tenia amor incondicional y cuidaba de sus nietos. Tenia una personalidad y sentido de humor que eran unicos y siempre te sacaba una sonrisa y hacia a todos reir. Siempre lo recordaremos por ser el mejor padre y abuelo que nuestro Señor nos permitio tener y disfrutar….esto no es un adios sino un hasta luego hasta que nos volvamo a reunir antes la presencia de nuestro Dios.
