James T. Coleman, Sr.
January 25, 1925 ~ June 7, 2017 (age 92) 92 Years Old
James T. Coleman, Sr., "Thomas", 92, of Coatesville,PA passed away on Wednesday, June 7,2017. Born in Rising Sun, Maryland, he was the son of the late Henry Coleman, Sr., and Inez Holmes Coleman. Thomas, as he was affectionately known, was the husband of the late Mazola Bryant with who he shared many years of marriage.
He spent two years in the United States Army until he was honorably discharged in 1953.
He is survived by his son James T. Coleman, Jr. of Sicklerville, N.J; his daughter Florita Corbin, of Camden N.J., 52 grands and great grands; a special granddaughter and caregiver Colleen Butler-Hamilton and a host of nieces, nephews and family friends.
Thomas was preceded in death by his brothers, Henry Coleman, Robert Coleman, George Coleman and Gordon Coleman and his sons Ernest Leroy Coleman and Louis Coleman.
Homegoing Services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday June 20, 2017 at Hutchinson Memorial Church, 826 East Chestnut Street, Coatesville, PA. 19320. Family and friends are invited to view beginning at 9 AM.
Interment will be private.
