Diane Marie Boyd

Diane Marie Boyd, 67, of Coatesville, PA, surrounded by her family, passed away December 15, 2018 at her residence.

Diane Marie Boyd was born July 30, 1951, in Coatesville, Pennsylvania.  She was the daughter of the late Charles Boyd, Sr. and Helen Alberta (Perry) Boyd.

Diane received her early education from the Coatesville Area Public School District. She graduated from college with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.  She became employed by the Embreeville State Hospital where she worked for 30 years until her retirement.

Diane went to church and accepted Christ at an early age.  She was a faithful member of the Historic Hutchinson Memorial UAME Church in Coatesville.   

She enjoyed watching crime shows on television. She was a huge Philadelphia Eagles fan. She also enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas and loved to cook. The family enjoyed her world-famous spaghetti.  

She will be deeply missed by her brothers, Charles C. Boyd, Jr. of Coatesville, PA, Michael Wilson of Atlanta Georgia; aunts Helen Meeks of Coatesville, Susie Mason of Newark, NJ.; close friends, Cheryl Lewis, China and Pinky and many devoted nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends

Services will be held at 11 AM on Friday, December 21, 2018 at Hutchinson UAME Church, 825 E. Chestnut Street, Coatesville PA. A 1-hour viewing will be held from 10 AM until 10:45 AM.
 
Interment will be held in Mt. Zion AME in Atglen, PA.

Flowers can be send to the church on the date of the service. The theme color is purple.
