Algernon Orlando Holder, 26, of Coatesville, PA peacefully passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2019, surrounded by his family.
Algernon was born in Bridgetown, Barbados. He was the beloved son of Deryle and June Holder.
Algernon was a member of ROTC in high school. After graduation, he pursued studying philosophy at Moorehouse College. During his leisure time, he enjoyed listening to rap music, playing basketball, and working out.
Algernon's personality and presence would light up the room. He was very gifted in debating. He loved working with people who were less fortunate. His family was important to him, especially his son Kai who was the joy of his heart.
He was a member of New Life In Christ Fellowship Coatesville.
He will be deeply missed by his family including his son, Kai Nicholas Holder; mother June Holder; father, Deryle Holder; brothers, Renaldo Holder, Dario Comabatch, Daniel Matthew; sister, Donisha James, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.
Homegoing Services will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at New Life In Christ Fellowship, 1 South 5th Avenue, Coatesville, PA. A viewing will be held from 9 AM to 10:45 AM.
Interment will be held at Fairview Cemetery in Coatesville.
