Stephen Anthony Spering

Stephen Anthony Spering, 67, of Coatesville, passed away Monday, April 16, 2018 at the Coatesville Veterans Administration Hospital in Caln.

Born in Philadelphia, Pa., he was the son of the late Harry Spering and Mary Judge Spering.

Stephen served two tours during the Vietnam Conflict, first with the Marine Corps and lastly with the U.S. Navy, and was honorably discharged in 1975.

Interment with full Military Honors will be held at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville, PA.

The staff of Indiantown Gap National Cemetery has asked the Patriot Guard Riders to stand in and to honor his service to our nation as he is interred with full military honors at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Tuesday April 24th.  Stephen served in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and later in the US Navy.  We will be there to ensure that Stephen gets the honor he deserves as he goes to his final rest.  Stephen Spering is a patriot who served our country with honor and now it’s our turn to stand and honor him.
