Robert Brown

Robert Brown, 84, of Coatesville, formerly of Paoli passed away Friday, February 10, 2017, at the Neighborhood Hospice Facility in West Chester, Pennsylvania.  A memorial service is being planned. Please check back for more information.

Robert Brown age 84, was born on January 4, 1943 in Paoli, Pennsylvania. He was the son of the late Christopher Brown and Molly Braxton Brown.
At the age of thirteen, Robert began work as a Coach Cleaner for a local Rail Company with his four brothers.  This Company would later be known, after many mergers, as the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Company (SEPTA).  Faithful and dedicated service afforded him the opportunity to move up the ranks with the company and he became a mechanic, retiring after fifty years of service.
Robert was a faithful member of New Hope Baptist Church in Paoli. He served there for many years.
On Sunday, February 10, 2017 Robert departed this life at the at the Neighborhood Hospice Center in West Chester, Pa.
He leaves the cherish memories of his life one daughter; Peggy Johnson of Coatesville, Pa, as well as siblings, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A Memorial Service honoring his life will be held 12 noon, Saturday, March 4, 2017 at New Hope Baptist Church Route 30 and Central Avenue, Paoli. PA 19301
