Nancy E. Palmer
July 5, 1953 ~ January 8, 2017 (age 63) 63 Years OldNancy E. Palmer, 63, of Oxford, PA, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at Jennersville Regional Hospital. Born in West Chester, she was the daughter of the late Robert F. Palmer, Sr. and Laura (Davis) Palmer.
Nancy graduated from the Oxford Area High School Class of 1971. After graduation, she began work in the Library of Lincoln University. She was later employed by Pepperidge Farms in Downingtown for 25 years.
She enjoyed crossword puzzles, listening to Gospel music and playing games, especially Yahtzee. Most of all, she enjoyed attending Sunday dinners with her family. She was soft spoken and always made sure everyone was taken care of before herself. Nancy loved her family very much and they loved her too.
Nancy was a faithful member of the Allen AME Church in Oxford, Penna.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, James Edward Palmer, Louis Henry Palmer and one brother-in-law, Stephen Caldwell.
She is sadly missed by one son, Richard Avery Palmer of Allentown, Pa.; her siblings, Terry S. Palmer of Shillington, Pa., Barbara A. Johnson (William) of Christiana, Pa., Grace I. Rivera (Leonardo) of Landenberg, Pa, Robert Palmer, Jr. (Jessie) of Lincoln University, Pa., Tracy K. Palmer (Melanie) of Lancaster, Pa., Douglas E. Palmer, Floyd G. Palmer, Marcia Y. Caldwell, and Jean M. Hall (Frank) all of Oxford, Pa, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Services are planned for 11 AM, Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Shiloh Presbyterian Church, 42 South Fifth Street, Oxford, PA 19363. Viewing will begin at 10 AM. Flowers can be sent to the church on the service day.
