It saddens me to hear my girl " Suggie" has gone and left us. To go to a better place. But I know she's alright now.. How do I know? Because she's a friend of mine. I know we don't have to worry, "for to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord", and earth's loss is heavens gain. Now don't think that the party is over. It has just begun. Because " Ain't no party like a Holy Ghost Party . And now my friend " Suggie " is dancing for the Lord. R.I.H. my friend.
Sadly submitted,
Shelia Hardy Banton.

What I would give to hear you call me Sgt. Slaughter one more time. You were more than a cousin, you were confidant, sister and even one time protector when someone tried to hurt me. I looked forward to visiting you every time I came to town.

I am heartbroken, but I know God has you and you are feeling no more pain. I am imaging Opper singing and you dancing up there in heaven and I laugh and feel joy. I know you don't want us to mourn you because you were always filled with so much joy so I won't, I will celebrate and thank God for allowing me to know and love you.

We send our deepest condolences to all of the family. We got to know Suggie and the family many years ago when we lived in Coatesville on Bantel Row and the lived in what we called "the middle alley". Our kids grew up together...my son, Peter, and her son Steph hung out together. Her daughter Jazz and my daughter Chris have the same birthday and Jazz went everywhere with us. We lost touch over the years but will always remember her as a wonderful, loving lady. Rest in peace until we meet again one day.

There are No words...My heart is heavy with disbelief.
Our friendship stems back to when she came to work at Gagliardis in West Chester...
We have children the same age and we took them wherever we would go...We modeled together at The Passtown Church the 1st Saturday in May each year...We also had our own modeling group Creative Illusions...She Loved to dance and dance she could...She was always happy and would help anyone she could...I know shes an Angel now...I am glad she is no longer in Pain. We were like sisters. I Love you Sugg, always have and always will....Jessica

Mommy you were definitely sisters. I never saw it any other way. Growing up; Aunt Shuggie was your sidekick and throughout the years she never stopped being there. I know you're hurting mommy; so am I and anybody else who knew her. Shuggie was that type of person that once you met her, there's no way you could ever ever forget her. She was a good person with a Grand heart and spirit that will always be remembered and live on. There's no way. She touched the lives of me an my kids and so many others in a way nobody else could. She gave them all nicknames...lol. She gave everybody nicknames. You probably don't remember "pretty black Jesus" (insider) but I do...lol again. She got me over her smiling and reminiscing. I love Shuggie mommy and I love you too. I hoped this helped. You know time here. I'm always here but you call me if you need me and I'll be right there. Let Go Let God! & prayers up. Tae

Suggie!!! We go way back to Coates Street.... Remembering you and my sister Edy. We use to say y'all was sisters twins because to me y'all looked alike and when we would see each other over the years even when Edy passed you was heart broken, but after that when we saw each other you always called me sis!! And just smiled... I just saw you at Brandywine and we talked and laughed... Girl you are going to be missed. Rest in paradise and give love to Edy 💝
