Margaret R. (Steele) Hubbard

Margaret Rebecca Steele Hubbard, 72, of West Chester, passed away September 26, 2017 at the Chester County Hospital in West Chester. A lifelong resident of West Chester she was the daughter of the late James and Rebecca Steele.                                      

Margaret was the wife of the late William “Patrick” Hubbard with whom she shared 17 years of marriage. She was affectionately known as “Margie” to her family & friends.

She is survived by her children, Tammy (David) Young of Chester PA, Tina (Mark) Baker of Coatesville PA, Aaron Simpson of Parkesburg PA, Tiffany Hilton of West Chester PA; three sisters: Pauline Steele of Coatesville, PA; Juanita Steele Wesley (Lewis) of West Chester PA, Elizabeth Steele also of West Chester PA; four brothers: James Steele, Sr, (Emma) of West Chester PA, Jerome Steele of California, Duane Steele of Spring City PA, Lawrence Steele of West Chester PA; 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick Hubbard, son, William "BJ" Simpson, Jr., 3 grandchildren: Shakeem, Shanell and Aaron, Jr.

Services will be held 11 AM on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1200 Phoenixville Pike in West Chester, PA. A 1-hour viewing will be held from 10 AM until the service time.

Per her wishes, she will be cremated and laid to rest with her late husband at Rolling Green Memorial Park, West Chester PA .
