Linda Costello Hamilton

Linda Costello Hamilton, 57, of Downingtown, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, April 30, 2016, surrounded by her family. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Ira Ferguson and Delores Costello.

Linda attended the Coatesville Area public schools and later attended Lincoln University.  She was employed as a Manager in the Corporate Office of Exxon Mobile in Exton, Pa.

Linda had a high spirited upbeat personality, but also had a gentle side that took on that of a caregiver. She had a fondness for children and a heart for rescuing animals in need of help.

Linda was the life of the party. She enjoyed listening to music and dancing. Shopping and fashion could be found at the top of her list along with driving fast cars.    She was an avid roller coaster rider at amusement parks. She also enjoyed fishing, knitting and crocheting.

Linda leaves cherished memories to one brother, Leondro Costello of Lancaster; two sisters, Marlene Costello (Eddie) and Wanda Costello (Pedro) both of Downingtown; her companion of ten years, James Steele; a nephew Lionel Costello, who was like a brother; a devoted niece, Carletta Costello; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was predeceased by one sister Geraldine Wilkerson.

Memorial services are planned for 3 pm, Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Wright Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., 725 Merchant Street, Coatesville, PA 19320.

Interment will be held privately.
