Laddie Wilson Jr, 81, of South Coatesville, passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at his residence.
 
Born in Bishopville, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Laddie Wilson, Sr. and Hannah James Wilson. He was the husband of the late Margaree Suggs Wilson with whom he shared 57 years of marriage.
 
Laddie worked for JD Ekman Construction of Atglen for 50 years. While not working, he enjoyed fishing.  He was a long-time member of Union Baptist Church, later named New Life in Christ Fellowship.
 
He is survived by his daughter, Barbara Ann Wilson of Chester Springs; three sons, Ricky Wilson (Shirley) of Downingtown, David L. Wilson (Valerie) of Coatesville, Larry Wilson (Almeta) of Bethune, SC; brothers, Richard Wilson (Cora) of Coatesville, Luther “Tip” Wilson (Mamie Lee) of Englewood, NJ; sisters, Mattie “Shirley” Reams (James), Addie Rucker both of Bishopville, SC; 4 grandchildren: Philip (Erika), Brandon, Kerri and Tanya Wilson, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives a friends.
 
In addition to his wife Margaree, Laddie was predeceased by four brothers, Vernal Lee, Beaugard “Vanda”, Prince and James; and a grandson, Michael J. Wilson.
 
Homegoing Services will be held 10 AM, Saturday, April 29, 2017 at New Life In Christ Fellowship, 1 South Fifth Avenue, Coatesville. A viewing will be held from 8 AM – 9:45 AM
Interment will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, West Chester.
