Interment Following Funeral Service

Jasmine Shonte’ Clark, 27 of Coatesville peacefully transitioned into eternal life on Resurrection Sunday, April 16, 2017.

She was born on May 5, 1989 in Coatesville, Pennsylvania and was the oldest daughter of Dalphyne Smith-Clark and Eugene Clark, Jr.

Jasmine attended schools within the Coatesville Area School District and was a 2008 graduate.  She became a Certified Nursing Assistant in 2010 in which she enjoyed helping and caring for people.

Jasmine enjoyed writing poems, singing, acting and dancing.  She was Trey Songz #1 fan and had plans to see him in concert once again for her upcoming birthday.  Her mother affectionately called her Mrs. Trey Songz.  Jasmine had so many nicknames because she touched so many people in different ways in which we all had a name for her such as Mikey, Jazzy J, Jazz, and Jay and we are sure there are so many others.

Jasmine was a beautiful, kind, humble loving mother to her 1 ½ year old daughter Journei Aziyah May in which she affectionately called her Ming who will continue her mother’s legacy.

Jasmine was predeceased by her grandmother’s Lula Mae Thomas and Dorothy Clark and her best friend Damon Toney.

Jasmine is survived by her daughter, Journei Aziyah May; her mother, Dalphyne Smith-Clark; her father, Eugene Clark, Jr.; sisters, Cashmere Clark and Felicia McCain; a brother Eugene Clark III; God-brother, Mondre’ Boggs; her very  best friend Ashley Toney who was like a sister,  and her Grandfather Eugene Clark Sr., all of Coatesville, Pennsylvania.

Jasmine will be truly missed by her nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and everyone whose life she impacted with her kind heart and her radiant beautiful smile.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 28, 2017 at the Second Baptist Worship Center, 856 Merchant Street, Coatesville, PA  19320.  A viewing will be held at the church from 9:00 am to 10:45 am and funeral services thereafter.

Committal Services and Interment will be held at Rolling Green Memorial Park, 1008 West Chester Pike, West Chester, PA  19382.
