Herman L. Marrow, Jr. was born December 12, 1949 in Durham, North Carolina.  He was the oldest son of the late Herman L., Marrow, Sr. and Estella (Peace) Marrow. He was affectionately known as “Monk” by his family and friends.

He was a 1969 graduate of Camden High School in New Jersey. He was a US Army Veteran who served until he was honorably discharged.

Herman married Frances C. Marrow in 1988. Together they shared 28 years of marriage.

Herman was a fun-loving gentleman who loved the Philadelphia Eagles.  He was devoted to his wife and family. He would take his grandkids everywhere. Pick them up and drop them off.  It was important to Herman to give gifts to all of the grandchildren every Christmas.
