Anna J. Miller was born in West Chester, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of the late William Jackson, Sr. & Helen Miller Jackson. She was the wife of the late Carl S. Miller. Together they shared 35 years before he passed away in 1999.
Anna had been employed at Wyeth Laboratories for thirty years until she retired. She was as member of the Bethel A.M.E. Church in Downingtown. Serving the community, Anna was instrumental in helping with voter registration. She enjoyed watching the Philadelphia sports teams. She was a great fan of Allen Iverson.
She enjoyed going to the casino, playing bingo, crossword puzzles and playing games on her Kindle. She loved to travel with her friends and family; they would always be on the go. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren who affectionately called her Mom-Mom.
Anna passed away peacefully with her family by her side on January 22, 2016. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by one brother, Jimmy Jackson.
She leaves two sons, Daniel Miller of Las Vegas, Joseph (Monica) Miller of Downingtown; brother, William Jackson, Jr. of Downingtown; 7 grandchildren; 1 great grand child, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The Most Important Person On Earth
The most important person on earth is a mother.
She cannot claim the honor of having built Notre Dame Cathedral.

She need not.
She has built something more magnificent than any
cathedral—a dwelling for an immortal soul, the tiny perfection
of her baby's body...

The angels have not been blessed with such a grace.
They cannot share in God's creative miracle to bring
new saints to Heaven. Only a human mother can. Mothers
are closer to God the Creator than any other creature; God
joins forces with mothers in performing this act of
creation... What on God's good earth is more glorious
than this: to be a mother?
—Joseph Cardinal Mindszenty
