Aleen Watters

Aleen Watters, 81, of Lincoln University, passed away January 19, 2016. Born in Clayton, Alabama she was the daughter of the late Isom and Carrie Bell Griffin, and wife of the late Ernest L. Watters, Sr.

Aleen was a member of Christian Faith Fellowship in Downingtown. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting and crossword puzzles.

She is survived by three daughters, Carolyn Palmer of Alabama, Valerie Cooper (Alfred) of Coatesville, Wanda Havelow (Kevin) of Lincoln University,  three sons, Jerome Griffin of Alabama, Ernest Watters, Jr. (Lakeeta) of Coatesville, Herbert Watters (Ethel) of Atglen, 17 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Services will be held at 11 am, Monday, January 25, at Christian Faith Fellowship, 156 Wallace Avenue, Downingtown, with a family visitation beginning at 10 am.

Interment will be in the New London Presbyterian Cemetery in New London, Pa.
